I cannot believe I have not reviewed this before. Rice and beans? Delicious. Pernil ? Delicious. Roasted Chicken? Delicious. Empanadas? So delicious!. I'm drooling as I write this. Everything is delicious. Just eat it all. It's also incredibly affordable so if you need a quick meal to serve the family and you don't feel like cooking, $40 will get you all the entrees and sides you could eat and probably have food leftover for the next day.

Their food is so good I eat it with my hands because I'm too excited to use a fork and need it in my mouth right now. The staff are *amazing* and hook you up with a delicious platter of whatever floats your boat. I always think I'm going to order something else when I go but the pernil calls my name and it never disappoints. Do yourself a favor and try their food!

OMG, I'm so glad my friend told me about this place. The food is so good and delicious and authentic. I got Pernil with rice and beans. The Pernil was moist with lots and lots of flavor. There were crispy pieces of skin as well. Just scrumptious. I also ordered the oxtail, also with rice and beans. A small container was enough for two meals. I had half for dinner and then the other half for lunch. I prefer the ox tail but my husband prefers Pernil. I also got the Tres leches cake which was outstanding! I'm a little obsessed with Tres leches cake. I've tried Campbell's Bakery, Dominican five and lots of others. Basically if I see Tres leches cake, I'm gonna order it. I love Union Boulevard Deli's the most. It does sit in a pool of liquid which I don't mind. Some people might not like it but I love just soaking the already moist and flavorful cake in with the delicious combination of the three milks. And the whipped cream topping is light and fluffy like it should be. I highly recommend. This will be a regular place for me. Possibly once a week. LOL Oh, and the people are so nice there. I'm so happy this place is so close!!

Food is always great. The staff is friendly and prices are fair. Hot food changes often enough. The ribs, fried chicken, and empanadas are really good.

Been back a few times and tried something different each time. Never disappoints! The food is so fresh and delicious. They provide good size portions for the price. I also like that the glass goes up high so the whole neighborhood isn't sneezing on the entrees. I want to come by to see what's for breakfast one day. Best Latin food I've had this far from Washington Heights.
